“A lovely hotel with delicious food and a beautiful, peaceful setting. You should stay here. We stayed in a little stone cottage separate from the hotel an easy 5-minute walk up the hill. It used to be the dog kennels. In fact, the low stone walls topped with iron fencing that served as the two outside pens of the kennel are still there, as are the doggie doors -- tho’ these are firmly closed. “We loved being out in the beautiful countryside in this sweet croft cottage. Our host was lovely and made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast provided gave us lots of choices and was very generous each day. We had a spacious sitting room and bathroom as well. Thank you so much Eileen!”

“This is a beautiful house close to the harbor. We had a triple room with bathroom. Good size room, I wish my room in Edinburgh looked like this. The whole property is spotless and up to date. The hosts are very nice and helpful and serve a good breakfast with lots of options. It's worth spending more time and relax in the chill Stonehaven. They have on site parking.”

“Your made to feel welcome from tje moment you check in. There's good parking. The room we had (6 in the pub) was very comfortable, spotlessly clean with lovely en -suite shower room. Fresh towels were available daily. The breakfast choice was amazing and very delicious”
