“If you rely on Google Maps it’s hard to find the Islay House it’s best to use the A847 and you’ll have no problems. Property is amazing and staff very friendly, some parts of the property are being renovated. Breakfast was very good, there was no evening meal available when we visited on September 1. I would be happy to return as it’s such an interesting property”

“This hostel was incredibly clean, including the room, showers, toilets, and the shared kitchen and lounge. I have stayed in hostels several times before, but this is the cleanest one I have ever experienced! The hostel managers were also kind and very warm people; they really looked after me! If I have the chance to visit Islay again, I would definitely stay here and would highly recommend it to my friends!”
