Great place, excellent location.

We arrived in the middle of a Holiday weekend and perhaps into a wedding reception so we were a little confused about where to check in. The hotel has a more relaxed approach to a front desk presence. The lobby mostly focuses on a restaurant/bar vibe. All of the staff we encountered were lovely and professional. We opted for valet parking and were glad we did. We walked out onto the outside area with chairs, couches and the hot tub. We didn’t use the space however, it’s a wonderful touch. We had booked a king accessible room and it was extremely generous in size. The couch was a pullout, I believe. Nepresso maker. Bar fridge. Plenty of reasonably priced snacks and drinks. An abundance of towels. You’re surrounded by everything that you’ll need during a visit to Halifax. It’s a downhill walk to the waterfront. Do yourself a favour and stroll the boardwalk.

I enjoyed the contactless check in/check out. Very seamless. They send you the passcode to the lock a couple hours before check in with all the details needed… wifi password etc. More hotels should be like this! 👏

The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. As I was only there overnight and left early the other questions don't apply to me.
