South entrance of Yellowstone was an 1 1/2 hr drive. It was out of season so traffic wasn’t bad. At night it was a short distance walk to town . Many restaurants and bars with live music. There were five of us and everyone had comfortable bed and bathroom. Beautiful kitchen if you want to cook. Only thing I would suggest is replacing those old frying pans . Checkin and out was so easy and they were very welcoming ! The unit was VERY nicely appointed with a great use of space. The balconies were our favorite- we had coffee there every morning and enjoyed the views!! Lots of bird watching and deer sightings. The unit has many levels so be prepared for stairs. The management company did a great job with helpful information making the check in/ out process smooth and giving us ideas for activities and restaurants.
