A nice place located at the base of a ski resort. The staff was helpful and the onsite restaurant was great. The rooms could use a little updating.

The room was awful, very small and dated. The bathroom was so small you almost hit your head on the sink pulling your pants up, terrible room layout.

Great little gem of a hotel! We got a great deal that exceeded all expectations. The Lift Line suite was roomy with comfortable beds. The property has lots of things to do, clean pool (but cold!) and two hot tubs. The resort restaurant, The Shovel Handle, has excellent food and service. The location of the property itself can't be beat. A great stay, 10/10!

Staff was nice but the room photos make it look so much nicer. The rooms definitely need a makeover. The shovel handle pub was awesome though. Breakfast was comical.. apples and convenient store muffins. Wasn’t haunted so that’s a plus.

It was great the pool, hot tubs, sauna were still open in September. It would be nice if restaurant or bar opened at 4:00 instead of 5:00. And would be nice if water was offered or a soda machine was available in the afternoon since there is no lunch available. A better breakfast would be nice.

Whitney Inn is a good place to stay. The only real drawback was a very minimal "grab and go breakfast". Otherwise, was clean, staff was courteous, and adjoining restaurant had some good food.

Great little mountain retreat! The outdoor area is great— pool, hot tubs, sauna and fire pits. They were much enjoyed after a long day of hiking! The staff was friendly and the Shovel Handle Pub had great food and libations. Would love to go back!

The room we had was very small compared to what we paid for it. It was outdated and coul have had better lighting. It was somewhat noisy because it was on the bottom floor and the water flushes from upstairs were frequent. Also, the adjoining bar and restaurant music was loud and intrusive.. The bathroom was very small and didn't have enough space for toiletries. We did like the self serve continental breakfast and eating area, as well as the outdoor spaces.

We absolutely loved our stay! We came here for our anniversary, and it was the perfect place to relax without having to leave the property. We enjoyed a great dinner, spent time in the hot tub and pool, and had so much fun with all of the yard games. Everything was clean, the staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was peaceful and welcoming. It made our anniversary feel really special. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing getaway. 💙
