"Even though property was aged it was in good condition, bathroom could do with a remodel. Breakfast was good except the heating wasn’t working made it very cold, would be nice if tv was a smart tv. Complimentary beer, water and soft drink on arrival was nice. Otherwise a pleasant stay within 5 minute walk to pub"

The breakfast had a good variety, and the bar had a nice atmosphere to relax in. The location was convenient, and check-in was smooth. "HUGE house which easily accommodated all 11 of us. Cosy fireplace and aircon kept the living areas very warm, with electric blankets on every bed. Endless appliances and kutchenware for a large group. Firewood was supplied and greatly appreciated. Lovely quiet area not far from the lake. Easy drive to the Mt Selwyn snowfields. Thanks for an awesome holiday!"

"My wife and I stayed one night at Brigham House and really enjoyed it very much. The building has over 150 years of history, so there's plenty to enjoy from that perspective, but it is also full of contemporary art pieces. Jeff, the owner, is a great host and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him briefly in the evening and then over a long-ish breakfast the next day. We wished we could have stayed longer."
