"The staff was very helpful The room was nice and clean. But the cable was awful. We were there for 3 days. On the weekend they give you all the premium stations. But after the weekend they take them away.After that TV sucks! The breakfast was excellent the 1st night. But after the weekend end the breakfast was minimal. Overall the stay was a 6 in standing."

"This is less a commentary on the hotel and more on the lack of effectiveness of the communication between myself, Expedia, and the property. I had a reservation for two nights this past weekend, and my flight was delayed and ultimately cancelled. I used the Expedia app to contact the property to make them aware and to request they hold the reservation for Saturday, when I did ultimately arrive, since I knew I'd be recorded as a no-show otherwise. It is not clear whether this information was received by the property at all, and when I arrived on Saturday and attempted to check in, I was in fact informed I was recorded as a no-show and my reservation was cancelled. What is the point of providing a method to communicate with the hotel if the messages aren't sent and/or seen? I will likely not use Expedia again for booking hotels as a result of this issue."

"Friendly staff, clean room. Skimpy toiletries compared to other Hampton properties. Renovations ongoing, so main entrance and pool were unavailable. With no main entrance, hallway doors weren't locked as posted."

"Our room was very spacious and clean! The staff is very pleasant and helpful! However, we were told by staff during our stay that this hotel would be closing as of June 1, 2026. I was very sad to hear that because this hotel is close to several areas that we frequent when we visit Winston-Salem as well as friends nearby. This stay was our 2nd and we planned to stay here during our future visits. I hope the staff has good luck in their future endeavors for employment as one lady informed me that she had been there 8 years and loved her position there!"

"I would not stay here again. While the room was clean, it was clearly in need of maintenance. The wall near the window needed repair, and one of the kitchen drawers would not close properly. The walls were extremely thin — I could clearly hear snoring from the room next door throughout the night. The beds were also not very comfortable, and the shower had almost no water pressure. In addition, the room felt unusually dry, which made it difficult for me to breathe comfortably at night. What was most disappointing, however, was witnessing staff members being openly rude and disrespectful toward another employee. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere and left a very negative impression. Overall, I cannot honestly recommend this property, especially for anyone planning an extended stay."

"Arrived to be notified of 2 surprises I don't recall seeing in property description. Yes, they are dog friendly, however the fee is $75/ night and the pet area is across the street and half block away, not convenient for middle of the night potty run. Also, the ONLY parking is Valet which I was told was $20, final bill was $28, rounding out a 1 night stay to >$500. Sure there's "on street parking" if you can find it with several other hotels nearby. Would stay elsewhere next time."
