Peaceful retreat

Very pleasant hosts, beautiful setting with spectacular views of the sunset, mountains and the strait. The clear starry nights were incredible. Loved the sun filled great room.

Peace & Tranquility

Three night mini vacation and so delighted we discovered this property. It was so much more than what we expected, absolutely beautiful, clean, spacious and great location surrounded with lovely scenery. Our hosts Tanya and Terry were so lovely and helpful and provided a welcome food basket, which was very much appreciated. Would highly recommend staying here and I think it will be very difficult to find somewhere as good as this.

Amazing stay!

We loved this property! It was beautiful, well appointed, and very clean. The hosts were friendly and on hand if we needed anything but were also very mindful of privacy. We enjoy cooking a few meals for ourselves when on vacation and the kitchen/BBQ had everything we needed to do that. The beds were really comfortable and the view and atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet. We were close to lots of natural wonders which we loved and were still close enough to Victoria to do day trips.

Beautiful property on Vancouver Island

Beautiful property inside and out. The private outdoor spaces are exceptional. We had breakfast at the outdoor table each morning, and took advantage of the shaded pergola on sunny afternoons when we got back from exploring the island. Tanya and Terry were great hosts. They gave us helpful advice on restaurants and things to see, and made sure we had everything we needed, but still respected our privacy. We had a great time and highly recommend this property.

Beautiful Accommodation!

The VRBO owners Tanya and Terry were very friendly and easy to deal with. The accommodations were beautiful and relaxing from the incredible welcoming gift basket to the large well maintained grounds to stroll around. What a beautiful place to stay! The entire place, inside and outside, was the best accommodation of this kind that any in our party have stayed in. Heated bathroom floors! Gorgeous view. Bunnies, baby deer, geese, birds galore just outside the windows. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Spectacular VRBO

A stunningly beautiful property. Well appointed for travel to many hiking trails, stunning forests and shops in Sooke. Close enough for a trip into Victoria. My daughter and I completely fell in love with the area and the local community.

Lovely accessible stay

Very accessible property perfect for someone requiring mobility aids. Terry and Tanya were very responsive. One note is that the kitchen in the one area that be tight for someone in a powerchair or difficult to turn around in a wheelchair or walker. Cannot recommend this stay enough!

Hosts were very hospitable and helpful! Property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The gift basket was very generous and wonderful soaps provided. The kitchen was compact but well stocked. Beautiful property and accommodations! Very private and quiet! Large patio and covered deck is awesome. Views are incredible and close to lots of activities. Tanya and Terry are great hosts! We even had a golf cart to drive around the property! Everything was great and we would definitely return and recommend.
