"We loved the location of this property as it was the center spot of where our family lives. The yard was nice as we brought our pup with us. Based on the listing that the property was on the lake we were looking forward to him being able to swim, yet were told "NO" by the locals as it is a duck itch water spot. The room was spacious and clean (we stayed in the Bachelor unit), however the mattresses could be replaced. I'm not sure why rentals feel that hard beds are the way to go. If we stay...

"Quirky proprietress, especially at check-in, but after that lovely. The rooms were beautiful and were made up every day of our four-night stay. Breakfast was excellent, and the proprietress prepared it with care and flexibility for different dietary needs. Dog and cat co-hosts were adorable.
