    Waterfront vacation home with private pool and kitchen
    This amazing Ocean Front 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath Home in Kona Bay Estates, is located on Keiki Beach. When you come to Hawaii you want to be on the ocean and be able to get into the water. Our luxury 3,070 square foot home is located on the most desirable beach in Kona. The soft, white sand beach is semi-private because of limited access and is within a small enclave that has 24 hour security. You just put on your bathing suit and walk out the door to either the beach or your private pool.The home has three bedrooms, with the master bedroom located on the second floor with its own lanai. The bathroom has a jetted tub and walk-in shower. This bedroom is very large with a king size bed. The other two bedrooms are on the main floor, one with a queen, the other with a king bed. If needed, the living room sofa converts to a queen bed. The house can sleep up to eight people.There are a total of three large lanais, one at pool level, the second at kitchen level, and the third off the master bedroom. The kitchen lanai has sweeping views of the coast line and the beach to watch your family and friends, and is perfect for enjoying mai tais at sunset. There is no better setting on the island.The kitchen has a subzero refrigerator, microwave, ice maker and granite countertops. Did I mention location? How about walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and tennis courts. Kona Bay Estates has some of the best preserved Hawaiian petroglyphs a short walk from the house. There is a 5 night minimum stay/10 during Ironman & Christmas season. This is a non-smoking, no pets property. Hawaii Tax ID: 074-498-4576-01.     Fantastic location
    We could not have been happier with the property. Fantastic location with stunning views. House was very well stocked and the management company did a great job with the check in process and support while we were there.

    Just perfect!
    The house was beautiful--clean, well laid out and nicely furnished. The second floor lanai was roomy, and we spent much of our time there. The location is perfect, right on the water, with a very short walk to a nice beach that is just right for little kids and also for checking out fish and taking a short swim. The only issue was the small plunge tub next to pool was supposed to heat up to 100degrees, but never got above 80.

    Awesome Big Island Family Vacation!
    As a first-time VRBO user, I was a little concerned how things would go, but I am so glad I trusted the reviews, photos and description for this property. It was AWESOME!! We are a family of five, with a 19, 17 and 16 year old. We all loved this house. The layout is very family friendly, with the master suite on the second floor, separate from the other rooms. The house is super clean and very well furnished. All of the beds were comfy. Our favorite “room” was the second floor outdoor deck, with great breeze, comfy chairs and fantastic views. The house is more than well stocked with household and beach items, and everything is easy to find and labeled; so there is no wondering how to use anything. Also, the photos don’t do the little beach out the back gate justice. When the tide comes in, there is definitely good swimming available, particularly good for smaller kids. The pool is small but nice. The location of the house is also very convenient to downtown Kailua, an easy walk to Alii street, where the main drag stuff happens. If you want to work out, there are also a couple good gym options in walking distance, off of Palani. Finally, there are supermarkets, a Target and Walmart within 5 minute drives and a Costco about a 10 minute drive back toward the airport. Again, we loved this house and would not hesitate to come back again.

    Beautiful place!
    The house was gorgeous and the location was perfect. Everything in Kona was within minutes of the home. I would highly recommend this place. The only reason I gave 1 star for communication with the property manager is that he scheduled some work to be done on the house during our stay without informing us ahead of time. The house was booked months in advance and the work was booked weeks in advance so the knew we would be there. The noise and vibration made it impossible to be home during the work. Had we known, we would have scheduled an excursion that day, but of course it was scheduled on a day we had planned to enjoy the home. It lasted 2 days. The management did reimburse us for 1 night of our stay which helped. This is probably an unusual situation, so I would still recommend the home.
