The hallmark of the hotel is the staff. Amazing friendliness, very accommodative and made us feel very much at home. Hotel overall was convenient and did justice to our stay. Check in was delayed for at least 45 minutes. It didn’t appear to be busy at the reception. Restaurant: Dinner was quite good with a well planned menu. Much variety and on point when it came to taste. Desserts could be better as seemed to be in the same spectrum. Breakfast could have been better on quality. Rooms were good sized, beds with average comfort. TV remote did not work but didn't really use it. Bathroom was well equipped. Showers with good pressure and wonderful hot water. Could have better utility for hanging towels and hooks for cloth storage. Would like to come back and enjoy the hospitality again.

This was a stunning end to my stay in Sri Lanka. Staff couldn’t do enough for you and general manager was around and introduced himself during breakfast. Cocktails and food was great. Breakfast was excellent. So many choices and nothing too much trouble. I can see it may be an issue in high season, but in October there was enough sunloungers at the pool and beach for everyone. Water supplied in room and on the beach/pool areas. WiFi was fast and reliable. Hotel offered turn down service which was a nice touch. Tip try the King Colada! We had a great 3-night stay at Coast 67. The most stunning setting, overlooking the sea and the fairly private beach (there are only a handful of hotels that have access to this beach, so there are no local sellers or other tourists). Being able to walk from the pool, to the sunbeds, to the sand and the sea in just a couple of minutes is bliss. The food was delicious, plus the dining staff were really friendly and warm. The breakfasts are healthy (albeit western focused, rather than sri Lankan), and the lunches tasty too. Reasonably well priced for a hotel. Also, would HIGHLY recommend walking to local cooperative Cafe Veda for dinner - 2000 rupees (£5) for an authentic dinner with friendly staff and calming atmosphere. We went twice in our 3 night stay. The hotel was always very clean, but there are a couple of teething issues: cleaning is every 2 days (which isn't a problem, but worth considering) and there were a couple of power outages (only a few minutes, so no problem either) and the showers stopped working one afternoon/evening. Plus, there are construction works on the road and at the next door beach club, so lots of noise during the day (November 2025). It wasn't a bother though, as the sounds of the ocean are beautiful - especially at night.

The hotel is very nice and room very good tbh all cinnamon hotels are very good standard and during our holiday we stayed in 4 of their properties. The only reason for low score is due to additional charges for our room. I made a mistake when I booked and did not add my husband to the booking (even though charge for room is same for 1 or 4 people) the hotel charged me $50 per night to add my husbands name to the room ( the room charge was only $80 per night) this seems extortionate charge for an amendment to the name on the booking especially as the room cost is not much more per night. So please double check your booking before going, if I had spotted the mistake 2 days before arriving then there would not have been additional charge. This really tainted our stay and was very upsetting as there seemed no real reason to charge this amount
