"We stayed in October and it was just hot enough to enjoy the pool and lying about in the crisp but warm mountain air. Property is sweet and check in caring. Space feels like a home rather than business, with generous touches of cheese and tomatoes to welcome us. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Bed was a little hard after 4 nights. But all round we LOVED this place."

"In total it was a very nice stay. The location is stunning and the pool, too. The kitchen is well equipped and in good shape! There is everything you need. However we had an issue with the cleaniness and overall maintenance. The bathroom needs urgent maintenance, since the shower head is broken and it almost comes off the wall. We stayed 4 nights. "Nous avons passé 5 jours en famille dans le grand gîte, avec nos enfants de 6 et 12 ans. Le cadre est exceptionnel nous avons eu un coup de coeur dès notre arrivée. Le gîte est très spacieux, moderne et confortable, il ne manquait rien. Literie impeccable, et grande salle de bain, ce qui est rare dans les locations de vacances. Difficile de trouver un endroit plus calme, les nuits ont été très reposantes. Vue magnifique depuis la piscine avec des transats en nombre suffisant si jamais...

"This was a superb apartment with a postcard perfect view of the Libyan Sea and sunsets that took our breath away. Our host and those who helped him could not have done more to make our stay more pleasant. We visited archaeological sites across Crete, using this apartment as our base. Be sure to go to the Moires market on Saturday mornings, sit at one of the cafés, and make friends with those around you, it's an experience you won't forget."

It’s reasonably private and has a view of harbour restaurants in one direction and the beach and caves on the other. "Palazzo Greco is a set of modern villas with a stunning view and nice location close to several beaches. The units are clean, comfortable, and we were nicely set up with a single villa using the lower level for our two kids. Do sign up for the breakfast---it was delicious, the best we had in Greece. The staff is welcoming and even shows up with tasty treats."
