“L’établissement vieilli mal et beaucoup de chalet était fermé voir abandonné. Le Personnel était très sympa. Nous avions limite l’impression qu’ils allait bientôt fermer. Le petit dej est très basique mais ça va. La plage juste devant est très pratique pour ce poser mais prévoir chaussons car que des cailloux. Pour résumer : personnel au top, hébergement vieux mais propre”

“This resort is not the high end expensive Marriot resort on the other side of the island. If you have the cash and desire primarily high end hotels, this is not it. BUT, The rooms are just fine, with all the extras except a microwave. What makes this resort special is the great vibe and diversity. The guests are primarily Malaysian and families. “I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled……
