"The owners as well as the property are gems and we enjoyed our stay here. The seaside restaurant has great food and a huge selection. Owners did a special barbecue night while we were there and their children performed a beautiful dance for us. I can't say enough about this quiet and serene environment. We enjoyed snorkelling off the beach in front of the resort. The pool was a delight and the intimacy of having only 8 suites made it so we could meet others and visit. There are onsite massages...

"This is a lovely, small hotel perched over the beach lined with fishermen’s boats coming and going. Pool area and lawn great. Very serene place, we stayed a week. We chose to enjoy all our meals in the restaurant on premise. Food was very good, Indonesian and western, very fresh and prepared well. Lovely staff; attentive and warm; very clean and well kept. Our room on the floor had a fantastic, wide ocean view! We loved our stay! Thank you Hotel Genggong for a wonderful stay! "

"This lovely small hotel has 8 rooms, a great pool, and a small restaurant that has a limited with a very good cook. The staff are wonderful and go out of their way to make your stay perfect for you. "absolutely beautiful resort, many activities to do within the resort, the staff is friendly, humble and accommodating. The evening shows are nice, food was good several restaurant within the resort to choose from, we set up a spa day as well and it was beautiful. The spa is located next to the river and you can hear the water while getting a massage, if there is any cons which aren't really cons, its that you are in the jungle, so there is many bugs, critters and other kind of wildlife, the bathrooms in the lobby/restaurant areas do not have air conditioning, and twice i walked in and was greeted by BIG lizard/Iguana things in the stalls. Again, it is the Jungle so I didn't let it bother me. The bell boy warned us of the monkeys that like to show up in the early morning around the villas. But again we didn't mind. Overall the Villa was beautiful and relaxing. I would love to go back to this resort one day. Of course, whenever I am mentally and physically prepared for that 24 hour flight from California. lol "
