"The toilet seat had urine stains when we first checked in and only God knows how long its been there. The kitchen lacked clean surfaces as did the floor of the entire room when we first got there. Housekeeping was done only on the third day (which we were told was apparently the norm) and greasiness of the floor did improve after the cleaning. Makes me wonder when was the last time the room was cleaned before we entered. Great location during the non-touristy season when much of the island is...

"Great value budget hotel in Zakynthos Town, just a minute to the shops and even less to the waterfront. Helpful staff, spacious room. My only gripe would be the ensuite layout and fittings were a little scruffy and that the shower curtain caused the floor to flood when taking a shower."

There’s a beach a short walk away, a wonderful seafront taverna and several others just up the road. Maria provided excellent instructions with great tips for the week. I only wish I could have joined the wine tasting. I met Olga for a massage too! You’ve got all you need here and a small hob and essentials to cook if you need...

"The unit was in a unique location in rural Greece, in the midst of an Olive Tree farm. It was charming, quiet, roomy for us, and functional for our needs. The host was very friendly and kind and helpful. We appreciated the gifts of food (fresh tangerines!). Unfortunately, the unit we were booked for was under renovation, so we stayed in a unit attached to the house. Heating in the back bedroom was minimal, and the internet was not functioning for the first day."
