"A great clean, modern motel with balconies and the fresh air of the sea just a few mins away from your room. Lovely having a spa bath and a good strong hot shower. Things that marked it down were maybe some more blankets and had to ask for the linen for the sofa bed and when delivered no pillow cases. Some of the lights in the kitchen area were not working, they would have made a less harsh light for main living area. Lights"

"An ideal location for a quiet getaway. Perfectly clean and well looked after. Well equipped with beautiful views I cannot recommend this home and location enough. Just a simple 80 minute ride from Auckland; it's easy to get to and remote enough to feel like you are away from the rush of everyday life. Matakanna, the closest village is about a 10 minute drive with some good local amenities. The property owner was a delight to work with and were flexible when I wanted to check-in early. Overall...
