“The was the perfect tiny cabin for my husband and I to stay in for our two nights in Seward. The shower was amazing and good hot water. Sheets and blankets were very soft. Internet was great.”

“What an AMAZING property! The views are just beautiful from this mountain top cabin. It was perfect for my husband and I. The weather wasn’t ideal during our stay in Homer so on rainy days we stayed in and enjoyed the dry view. It’s snuggled into a wooded area on a dead end road so was extremely quiet. But yet a 5 minute trip into town and to a grocery store. The kitchen is fully functional which we appreciated to be able to make our own meals. As noted in the listing, the property has recently……

“My husband and I wanted to stay here forever. What a magical place. The views are outstanding, the kitchen is fully stocked for a long stay, and the bed was so cozy and comfortable. I love that you can see the mountains from the bed. The only complaint I have is regarding the shower. The shower head is very high up the wall and impossible to adjust. As a shorter person, I couldn’t escape the water blasting me in the face. But I’ll take being blasted in the face by water if it means I can be in……

The host gave us a tour of all of his custom built cabins that he has on the property and was thoughtful enough to gift us a bottle of champagne for my girlfriend’s birthday. “Everything from the home itself to the responsiveness of the property owner was 5 stars! I would give 6 stars if able. The Silver Salmon Lodge is the perfect space for an Alaskan get away. The home was clean and cozy. It is close to anything you need in Sterling/Soldotna and a perfect midpoint if you are trying to enjoy Homer and Seward. The freezer was a big plus for keeping our fish frozen from the beginning to the end of the trip. I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Alaska!”
