"Check in was ok. Owner was very responsive and let us check in early. There was a problem with the lock but that was taken care of within minutes. Kitchen was modern and beautiful, no coffee pods or sugar or creamer which would have been nice for an overnight stay.Bath towels were tiny and the bath matts were sketchy. Bathroom and shower were clean.The issue: 64 steps to the apartment, some extremely steep. No way we were getting a suitcase up those stairs. We threw essentials in a bag and carried them up, way, way up.People need to know this before they book. "

Neighborhood was nice and quiet, easy access to area attractions, and we would definitely stay there again on our next extended trip to the area."
"Hotel room and areas are a little dated, but are clean. There is a pool, but we did not use it during this visit. Was nice to have it as on option. We used as base to visit Newport, which worked out very well. There are options for dining in nearby towns. Definitely recommend Jukebox cafe for breakfast, and The Aviary Restaurant for dinner. Food was excellent at both, and much more reasonable than what we paid to eat in Newport. "
"A great time we came with our daughter and future son-in-law for her 23rd birthday. We had an amazing time the property manager and maintenance person was very approachable and helpful when we had a small issue. Would definitely come back again. House was very clean and photos were just as they were on the website for the most part all in all a really nice stay. Thank you Beth and Kevin for making our weekend perfect."
"Great place for me and my husband. Pictures were extremely accurate. Beautiful view from the Deck and very peaceful and quiet. Well stocked and very clean. Just one thing...the remote for the living room TV needed to be charged. No batteries...its solar and there is a charger in the living room for the TV. This should be added to the book, as I had never seen anything like this before and couldn't figure out how to work it. Attempted to email the property manager and they had no idea about the remote. Suggesting that this be added to the instruction booklet with all of the directions, recommendations, etc. Overall really nice experience that I would definitely recommend and will definitely return."

"This property was absolutely disgusting and not well cleaned. It smelled like the room had not been opened in years very musty. The walls had smears all over them, cracked mirrors, hair balls, the fridge and microwave were stained as well as the curtains. I did not feel comfortable sitting anywhere in the room let alone putting my belongings down. "

"Gary was a truly gracious host. The house is beautiful and very clean. There are so many amenities that made the stay even more enjoyable including the upgrades to the bathrooms. The pool was perfect to cool down after the heat wave that hit and the hot tub was amazing as well. The kitchen has everything anyone would need to make meals while enjoying your stay. We will definitely stay again in the future! The view is pretty great too. Thank you, Gary! "
"It was very nice to have the water out back, however our weather was not the best to enjoy it. Had everything we needed provided, don't really think the grill was usable, but we didn't intend to grill. Would rent again if we're back out east."

"I have stayed at many VRBOs in the past and this by far was the best one I have ever stayed in. We were greeted with plenty of coffee, creamer, fresh eggs, popcorn and a kitchen full of staples. Anything you would need for your stay was in the home. The home is comfortable and very well kept. The owner is right next door and the most pleasant person you will ever meet. We absolutely can’t wait to visit again. If visiting Massachusetts I highly recommend this VRBO. You will not be disappointed. Mike and TeresaHickory NC"

We appreciated the bathrobes, motion sensor lighting, coffee/tea station, breakfast goods in the refrigerator along with a filtered water pitcher. The bed was very comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. We also liked being able to use the gas BBQ our back. Altogether, a lovely stay."
