Clean room

We had requested and called to verify a room on the top floor. We were given a room on the bottom floor in a corner. That was not a good fit for us. First we were near the exit, then we kept hearing trucks that had stopped to eat at the local Waffle House, and finally there was a lot of noise coming from the parking lot. When I asked about y request, I was told that “they were pretty well booked with a lot of workers from a local project.” And there were several CSX company vehicles in the parking lot. But we had made our reservation several weeks in advance. And I had even called the front desk to be sure we had a top floor room. I doubt we will stay here again.

Great staff and accommodating to my stay

We came during a baseball tournament weekend and so the hotel was packed. We were given the wrong room at check in. We booked a double queen (we had 3 people) were given a room with 1 queen bed. Then when we went down to the deck they gave us a new room, went to it and there is still only one bed, but a king this time. Went back to the desk they said they had no other rooms for that night, but should for the next night. So we agreed to make do. (They compt us a breakfast.) returned to our room that evening after the games (close to midnight) only to find it 80 degrees inside. The air had gone out, there was multiple that had. They had no rooms to move us to, no fans to give us, and no hotels in the area that we could go to. Then since we booked through a 3rd party (Expedia) they wouldn’t / couldn’t refund us. We paid $170 for a night spent in the lobby and in our car with the AC on. And was just told they’d move us to a new room the next morning. Besides that nightmare, the breakfast bar was out of food the whole time, they never made enough to last longer than 5 minutes, the pool area didn’t have any towels and there was a ton of wet dirty ones all over and mountains of trash near every trash can, only saw it being taken out once the whole time we were there. Front desk staff was short and defensive about issues, while not being able to offer any support. Nightmare trip do not recommend.

The workers were extremely nice and actually helped with my accommodations. I'm disabled and hadn't booked a room with accessibility and they fixed it for me.
