Trying to be polite but there were some flaws with this hotel. The location is likely best for business travelers, I guess? My fault booking it, but fyi. We have a huge room for Japanese standards, so there’s that. The carpets are stained, a poor choice in pattern for a hotel, especially considering how spotless Japan is. The staff are young kids so not going to comment on that, take it as you will… my wife witnessed an altercation in the laundry room and being from America that’s an everyday thing for us but it was crazy behavior for Japan(I image you can guess where the the lady was from that removed another guests laundry from a machine, and it’s not Japan, America or Australia, so that was off putting) the combine in the hotel was great as an amenity. It has one of the more unusual bathroom setups I’ve seen haha(pictured) there was no nonsense with my folio which is good. All that being said Sapporo is a beautiful place with lovely people. If this hotel is your only opportunity to visit then absolutely do. Now if you have alternative options for accommodations, I’d take them personally. One thing to note: there’s a little coffee shop that I think opened at 730ish around the block named Ritaru coffee camillia, I think, and it was so dope! Literally the best coffee I’ve ever had. It’s small and quaint and totally awesome. Go there and be polite!!
