  • Three-storey Lakeland stone town house just 150 metres from central Keswick. With much to do on your doorstep, leave the car and head out on foot. Many local fells are accessible or take a stroll down to the lake shores of Derwentwater (0.5 miles) to catch the launch from Keswick across the lake and conquer the stunning Catbells, popular with walkers of all ages and abilities. For something more challenging, Skiddaw (5 miles) is a slightly longer, higher walk and, at over 3,000 feet, on a clear day you can see far and wide. Keswick has an abundance of shops, including small independent traders, galleries, and of course tea rooms. The Theatre By The Lake has many well-known productions too (0.5 miles).

    Walk through the courtyard garden up to the front door. As you enter the property, you will find yourself in the lobby which offers lots of shoe storage and somewhere to hang your coats, as well as a utility area. The ground floor has attractive oak flooring with underfloor heating. Opposite the entrance is a shower room which is very useful when you have been out exploring all day and want to come straight in and wash off. From the entrance lobby, you will find yourself in the contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. This room offers a great social space to enjoy dinner or breakfast together and make plans for your days ahead. There is a cosy wood burner which is perfect on a cooler evening, enjoy a good movie on the Smart TV with Sky package or just read a good book. For anyone cooking in the kitchen, you will not feel alone as this living space enables you to still be together. From the kitchen, there is one step up to the entrance hall and front door. There are lots of original features, a lovely, tiled lobby floor and a stunning architrave. Head up the stairs to the first floor, where you will find a bunk bedroom and a king-size bedroom with a family bathroom across the hallway. As you head to the second floor, you will find the door out onto the roof terrace - a perfect spot for an early morning coffee. On the second floor there is a pretty twin bedroom with rooftop and fell views. Here you will also find a second king-size bedroom, and a family bathroom.

    At the front of the property, there is a pretty enclosed courtyard garden with patio and seating. There is also a roof terrace with views across the fells.
