Kettle and Stony Point First Nation Administration Tours

The hotel room was decent and clean, but there was no heat and it was cold at night. The thermostat on the wall was on, but they must have the baseboards turned off, because any adjustments I was trying to make didn't turn them on. In the morning I met someone getting coffee who also complained about how cold it was, and then I heard even more people in the hall talking about it. I understand they make a note that the heat is turned off in the summer, but October 17th is definitely not summer. Also, people should always have the option to turn on heat if they are cold. There can be summer nights when it gets cold at night, or for someone like myself with hypothyroidism, I always feel a bit cold so having adjustable heating is important. The front desk is closed after 9pm and they say only to contact for emergencies because the staff needs rest, so I didn't call because I didn't know if this would be considered an emergency.

Nice place we will surely go back to this place.

quick check in and out. had room 142 which was a basic 2 queen room that was clean, comfortable beds and nice bathroom area. i believe this wing of the hotel has been redone in the last couple of years. all staff were very friendly and helpful. restaurant had great staff, good food at a reasonable price. would stay again if ever in the area.
