This canal-front half duplex offers you great views, a private boat dock that fits up to a 50ft boat, covered deck, patio, and boardwalk, right in your backyard! We were super impressed with how easy it was to communicate with the homeowners and their quick responses to questions we had prior to our arrival. The home is very well equipped, super clean and close to everything in the Key Colony/ Marathon area. 7th street is a great location. The Cabana Club/pool is within a quick 5-minute walk. The rental home from Lexia and Mike was PERFECT. The communication with the owner was fantastic and we would love to come back for another stay. The home was clean, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for a comfortable week's stay. The location of Key Colony was ideal for us to be able to hit numerous adventures throughout our stay (Turtle Hospital, Snorkel trip, Dolphin Research Center and day trip to Key West). We enjoyed a couple of relaxing pool / beach days at the Cabana Beach Club right in the neighborhood. I can't imagine a better home or area to stay when wanting to explore all the FL Keys have to offer. Lexia and Mike were fantastic to work with and we hope to book with them again in the future! It was just right for our family of 4\. Everything in the kitchen was new and making cooking breakfast fun. We used the boat dock. Easy to get in and out of canal and to open waters. We used Coco boat rentals instead of bringing our own boat this year. We used the pool at the Cabana club. No outside food or drinks permitted at the club but they have everything you need for purchase if you want to and very cute gift shop. Loved the home as it was easy being on ground level not the usual keys stilt Home with tons of steps we are used to renting. Ideal for young families or older people with hip or knee issues. The second bedroom is on the way to master but does have doors. Parking is a bit tight with bigger vehicles but manageable. In all, out of all the years renting on this site this was the cutest home we ever rented. There is a private beach and pool less than a mile away which is included when you stay at this home. We brought our boat as well and loved the convenience of having it docked where we could see it when not in use.
