“Took my fiancé away for a birthday surprise, we both absolutely loved it, so romantic, easy check in & check out, a very homely atmosphere, neither of us wanted to leave! Definitely recommend, was worried it wasn’t going to be like the pictures due to how good the price was but it looks exactly like the photos advertised!”

“The lodge was perfect for us. Cosy, warm, all facilities, utensils, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, luxury toiletries, spotlessly clean and private. A peaceful haven to recharge away from city life.”

“Roy was an exceptional host, he was very informative about how to get to the property as the sat nav was a little bit unreliable. He showed us around the hut with all the facilities that were available. The hut had everything u could possible need. It was beautiful and relaxing and I cannot fault it at all. The village was about a 10 min drive which has everything u would need. The hot tub was a very nice treat in the evening, even if it did rain. Thank u so much Roy for making us feel very……

“The cottage was one of the best stays we have ever experienced. The property is very clean, in terrific condition and very rustic. I highly recommend and congratulate the owner for their hard work on this. The only thing that people should be aware of is that the country road leading to the property is quite rough so careful driving around the potholes is required. However, this should not detract from people visiting this lovely cottage. ”

“We were luck enough to have an earlier check in and the check in was easy and everything ready for us on our arrival. We had ordered a breakfast hamper of local produce and all was ready in the hut. The hut was bigger than it looks and plenty big enough for 2 adults and 2 small dogs. Everything you could think of was in the hut. We didn’t use the underfloor heating or the log burner as the hut was really warm without it. The hot tub was amazing and was so easy to use by ourselves. Doesn’t take……

“It truly was a perfect Christmas stay. We really appreciated the Christmas Tree and the treats. The cabin was so cosy and well equipped and we loved the views from the porch and the hot tub.”

“I rarely leave reviews but this place really does get 5 stars for everything. Beautiful location, complete privacy, and all amenities you could need. We stayed in the safari tent which was well above our expectations. Great communication from the hosts too! ”
