Equipped with a great room, kitchen, three bedrooms, three full baths and in-unit laundry, Surfing Gecko combines single-family privacy with resort-style amenities. Upgrades include a gas fireplace and hardwood floors in the living area, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, and coastal-inspired furniture and decor throughout. A terrace with an ocean view is located just off the living area, where you can watch the sunrise or listen to the waves. Two of the three bedrooms include ensuite baths for plenty of privacy, and kids will love the foosball table in the bunk room. The building features three elevators, ideal for guests with mobility issues and an added convenience for sending luggage and groceries to the third floor. Croatan Surf Club boasts a premier outdoor complex with an 80' long heated pool surrounded by lush greenery. This oceanfront oasis also features a secluded in-ground spa area and a partially shaded children's pool area complete with "spray ground" and zero-edge wading pool. From there, easily get to the beach using the boardwalk or just enjoy the ocean view from the dunetop gazebo. The indoor facilities are just as impressive with a fitness center and indoor heated pool that's open year-round. Centrally located in Kill Devil Hills, Surfing Gecko is within a mile radius from shopping, dining, grocery stores, a movie theater and mini-golf. Grab lunch, dinner or drinks at Goombay's Raw Bar & Grill, just a seven-minute walk away. You can also walk or bike to the Wright Brothers National Memorial, where you can climb up to the monument for a panoramic view of Kill Devil Hills. Pets allowed - dogs only.
