“Check in was a bit challenging as they weren't responding to messages so we waited outside in the heat until another guest let us in. Reception & breakfast is on the 3rd floor (no elevator). We booked a room titled "City View" but it was a view of a laneway & an old run down building. Room was very small. We had no hot water for the first night and also the next morning (showering was unpleasant, freezing cold). The air conditioner was so loud it was hard to sleep & it stopped working on the……

“Overall, the stay was fine. The room was clean, the breakfast was good, and the staff were helpful. However, the room service was disappointing. The room wasn’t always cleaned thoroughly. Sometimes the bed sheets weren’t changed and the pillows were simply rearranged. The hair dryer also produced smoke, and instead of shampoo, hand soap was provided. So while the room itself was acceptable, the service and amenities were below expectations.”
