The location for this B&B is amazing, with views out over the valley to the peaks across the lake. Very peaceful setting, and the farm animals just add to the experience. A lovely room, full Irish breakfast and a wonderful hostess who went out of her way to meet our needs.
Very relaxing stay even though it was during a storm

History aficionados will adore King House.
It's 95 miles from Dublin, in Boyle.
It's unfortunate, but there are barely any accommodation choices within 0.1 miles of King House. However, 20 miles away, in Sligo, you will find a good selection of hotels to choose between. You should consider booking a room at the Sligo City Hotel, Benbulben Apartments and The Glasshouse.
Enjoy a caffeine fix and indulge your sweet tooth at Margarets cafe. Within a short walk of King House, it's a great place to take a rest from all that walking around. Famished travelers searching for a heartier dining experience should go to King House Tea Rooms, an establishment that's also not far away. To properly end the night, take one last short walk and buy a few rounds at Scanlons Bar.
Instead of getting in a pricey cab or stressing about parking, take the train to King House. You'll be able to jump off at Boyle Train Station, just 0.4 miles from the attraction.
