Magnificent holiday stay.

Place is great for all ages. Location is amazing. House is big enough to house a full family and everybody has their own space. Balcony to sit in and enjoy those lazy afternoon’s..

Felt like an overseas resort holiday

We had four nights here. The quality of the villa is very good with all the comforts including a bbq on the huge deck area. The resort is maturing but the staff are welcoming and courteous. We bought some groceries at the mainland reception and took them with us as we knew the island restaurants and general store would very pricey. We enjoyed the half day cruise to Moon bay and loved the pools until 10pm each night

Great island getaway

Villa was well located. Directions to the villa need reviewing. The villa was not very clean at all. Perfect for 2 couples & had everything we needed.

Lovely holiday Villa

Enjoyed our stay, villa was lovely, clean and spacious. Kids enjoyed the board games in the evening. Enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings.

Week in paradise

We had a fabulous week in the villa!! Perfect home away from home. It was so nice to be able to cook meals if we wanted and do the washing as we want and not have a pile to do when we got home!! Loved being within the resort to access the facilities!!

Excellent place for a family holiday

We loved the kookaburra villa because it gave us the perfect base for our holiday on K’gari Fraser Island. The villa is neatly presented and supplied with everything needed to be self-contained. We were able to use it like a home. It’s set amongst the trees with walking access to the many facilities at the Kingfisher Bay resort. Communication with the owners was seamless and friendly. We’d recommend for any family group of up to 6 people as a very well priced option to enjoy the delights of the resort and the island.

A wonderful week on K’gari

We arrived very late and it was a bit hard to find our Villa so I went to reception and they were fantastic and helped me call the owner and get a lock box code that didn’t come through. The people before us wrecked the BBQ and the next day the owner had another one set up and ready for us to use . We had 4 adults and a 14 yo stay in the house and there was plenty of room for us all .we spent our days exploring the island and having BBQ!s and a glass of wine and some beers on the deck . The sunsets were magic the shops were $$$$ so bring most of your food from home we loved it and will definitely be back again

Stayz is the problem with communcation

We couldn't see email attachments is a timely manner as the attachments are held back by Stayz until you log in to their site. This is a problem as we thought the host was not attaching emails. This issue needs fixing by Stayz.

Really Lovely Stay

Our stay at the villa was really nice. Everything we needed was there, the balcony was private, Air Conditioning good. It's well located and easy to stroll down to the resort pools etc (about a 5 min walk). Communication with the host (Dianne) was excellent, prompt and she answered any questions we had prior to arrival. Highly recommended, this is one of the best stays we've had.

Fantastic property with everything you need. Immaculately clean and modern renovation and furbishment. It was so easy to book and stay. Great space to relax in at night after a long day out. We will definitely look to book again.

Relaxing Holiday - privacy and quietness

Loved our holiday great set up of villa, easy access to 4WD tracks out of Kingfisher Bay Resort. Relaxing atmosphere, great place to be. All kitchen utensils/cutlery supplied. Kettle, toaster and Pods coffee machine, tea bags and microwave included. Washing machine and dryer and dishwasher as well as BBQ with outdoor setting on large deck also features. Host was prompt and provided answers to questions. Will love to return!
