Cosy, traditional Norfolk cottage with option to book beach hut (seasonal)

Lavender Cottage is a beautiful, spacious 2 bedroomed cottage in the Norfolk coastal village of Heacham. Guests will experience a “home from home” experience with all mod cons including a dishwasher, tumble dryer and washing machine. Free WiFi. The comfy corner sofa converts into a kingsize sofa bed and there is also an additional downstairs toilet. The cottage has a small, dog friendly courtyard garden and a renovated beach hut on North beach (March-October) for use at a small additional cost. PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A TERRACED COTTAGE AND SOUND FROM NEIGHBOURS CAN BE HEARD AT TIMES.

Kitchen was generally clean although the fridge hadn't been cleaned and there was food in it The shower either ran really hot to scolding or cold no middle ground the radiators either worked or didn't across the property and the lounge one was noisy even above volume of tv neighbours also noisy late at night watching tv location excellent for all amenities and beach with local pub very welcoming just needs a little TLC in places

Loved this cottage, everything you could need in terms of home comforts, ample kitchen equipment to do a 3 course meal (not that we did), courtyard garden perfect for the dog, as previously mentioned, parking is a little tight at the front of the property

A blissful retreat

Lovely Weekend Stay

The cottage is lovely and well kept, it’s actually bigger than it looks on the photos, especially the bedrooms and bathroom. Generally tidy and has all the amenities you could need within the property. Parking outside was a struggle as the neighbours had a large van parked there, so couldn’t park as the pictures suggest, but we still managed. Hosts were easily contactable. The location is 1 minute away from a nice pub and about 20 minutes away from the beach (walking). Would happily return in the future.

Second stay here as it’s close to the quiet dog friendly beach which is loved by our family. The cottage is large enough for 4 with everything you will need for your stay. A great Home from home.

Very clean, everything you need & more in the cottage, comfy beds, location fantastic. The cottage looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious, in a comfy way. Loved our stay here, will be back again.

Stayed for 4 nights during Sep 24. Property had everything you require for a comfortable stay. Location was perfect for us, 15 mon walk to the coast or 1 min walk to a great pub The Bushell & Strike. Will definately book again.
