"The staff were spectacular -very helpful and kind.
Room was clean, and modern.
Lobby was nice.
Easy walk to town and train station with a small grocery store at the other end of the parking lot.
Shower was not easy to climb into and wouldn’t work for tall people. Also, the temperature control was confusing and didn’t seem to change the temperature no matter how we changed it.
Still- I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it."

"It wasn't possible to have some ice cubes. They were saying they didn't have any? That's the first hotel i have been to, where they don't (won't) give me ice cubes. In that case they should put the free water in the fridge instead of putting it on the table so it gets varm.
Last thing was the juice at breakfast. It seams that the first juice in the morning are from the day before (99% sure) i think it's because there is a automatically juice refill machine. So they don't empty the bottles and...

"We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable this hotel was. The bed was the most comfortable hotel bed that I have slept in during this trip! The hotel staff were friendly and although we did not speak German and they did not speak English, we managed to communicate. There was a locked bike cage in the garage which we appreciated. By bike it was a quick cycle into the centre of town where we found a bakery, grocery store and a lovely park. "

(There's a plaque outside that says this location has been a hotel for about 200 years, and guests included Dosteovsky, Chopin)"

"The property did not have AC which I wasn't aware of, It was hot while we were there and could have used AC. Breakfast was good. I feel like the parking was misrepresented. It said that when I looked at the hotel, the parking was available for a fee. This was fine with me, but when I arrived, I was told there were only 13 spaces and they were full. I had to leave my car on the main street and walk back and forth. I did not like this at all. If you say parking is available, then you should have parking available"
"This is exactly where I would stay if I returned to Dresden. Minutes away from the Theaterplatz tram, giving you access to all the nearby sites that aren’t in the immediate vicinity. Clean rooms and a free minibar that is refreshed daily. I also found the rooms to be spacious, with practical features like lounge chairs and a large desk. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff is friendly."

Although the hotel was small and in an older building, it was very clean and well maintained. The atmosphere had a unique charm, and everything was comfortable and tidy. The best part was the location — right in the city center, directly across from the beautiful cathedral. It was the perfect base for exploring Dresden.
