"The hotel was clean and the breakfast excellent. It was about 1,5 km from the city center but convenient with free parking and a 40 minutes drive to the airport Munich. The price was affordable. The reception is open only daytime for later check-in there is a code. The only thing I didn’t like was the toilet and shower with CLEAR glass. If you are more than one person in the room it doesn’t feel comfortable to use either of them. "

Glasl's Landhotel

10/10 Excellent

"This was the best hotel of our 10 day trip to Bavaria. Although off the beaten path, it is maintained Immaculate from top to bottom, including the room, common areas and the grounds. We had a 3rd floor room with balcony overlooking farmland. The large room had a sitting area and huge bathroom. The staff was professional, helpful and friendly. The morning breakfast was excellent with varied breads, pastries, meats, eggs, fruits, teas and international coffees unmatched throughout our stay. We can’t wait to return next year!"

Apartment 'Ferienwohnung Am Schloss Elkofen' with Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

"Staying at an apartment like this was an absolute success. It is easy to find and located in an incomparable rustic setting. The apartment was spotless when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed, and in our case, having a Nespresso machine with capsules and sugar was vital. The bathroom was pristine, with a full set of towels for each of us. The bedroom had a large window with natural light, a very spacious bed, and plenty of wardrobe space to store our clothes. The mattress was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were excellent. When you open the fridge, you find two bottles of water and two beers—a detail we highly appreciated. The location and surroundings are strategic since our plan was to travel to Munich and Salzburg by train. The area is quiet, which is wonderful. The views from the terrace were spectacular. The train station is very close by, and the city of Granfield is just 2 km away. Also, a typical German restaurant where we had dinner every night is just a 2-minute walk (200 meters) away. The owners were incredibly friendly and respectful. They provided us with helpful directions and information for everything we asked. The Wi-Fi had a strong and fast signal. Highly recommended. On a scale of 0 to 10, we give it a 12!"

Hotel Gutsgasthof Stangl

"We decided to take the extra 10 minutes to drive out to Hotel Gutsgasthof Stangl due to an unexpected overnight stay in Munich instead of staying at the droll options 20 minutes away. I must say it was an extraordinary decision. The property is fabulous, the staff very helpful, and the dinner excellent. We had to leave for our flight before breakfast was served so the kind staff made us sandwiches which we picked up in the morning, such a lovely touch with the stress of flight chaos. Our very short time at this hotel has inspired us to spend more time in Munich!"
