30 Upper-Level has been renovated with Kitchen featuring new cabinets, counters 2 stainless steel 3-Door Refrigerators and more; Dining with a table for 10; and two Living Areas, one with a great stone fireplace; a Powder Room, as well as a King Master with upper-level deck access-Master Bath has 3'-wide doors for wheelchair accessibility.
2) Mid-Level: You'll find a King Master, a King Bedroom, and bedroom with a twin bunk set and a pyramid bunk (double on bottom, twin on top). Also on this level is a third gathering space with a large flat screen TV.

Great location
Overall the house was wonderful. Fully stocked with everything you need. The location can’t be beat. The heated pool was broken when we were there which was really disappointing as that was one of the main reasons we booked the trip so if the pool wasn’t working we would have booked somewhere else. They did refund the heating fee but I wish they would have checked the pool out prior to our arrival as I had a couple of disappointed kids on my hands. But we made the best of it with the beach and the hot tub. Views from the deck are incredible. Lots of games and puzzles in the game closet. Oh and the gas grill needs some love and attention as it is rusted out but we were able to use the charcoal grill. There are lots of outside games too. We played basketball and cornhole but there was also horseshoes and volleyball. Lots of fun at this place!!

The house was amazing and the elevator made life so much easier for unloading and loading. The pool with the slide was a huge hit with the kids! My only complaint is the walkway to the beach was not accurately portrayed, the pictures online showed stairs with a bench at the top of the dune, which would have made getting to the beach so much easier and easier on your feet.

Fun family vacation to OBX!
We really enjoyed our stay at the OBX, and the Sequester offered us a great time. The management company was easy to work with and responsive to our emails. Overall our family enjoyed the experience. We were disappointed by a few things. First, the pictures online of the walk from the pool to the beach are inaccurate. There are no steps to the top of the sand dune or a bench at the top, and our older parents couldn’t walk to the beach up the dune due to the lack of steps. Fortunately another route two houses down made the walk easier for them. A new picture of the walk up the dune is needed for this property. Second, the weeds/ivy are overgrown and lay in different areas on the pool deck. Some of these have thorns or sharp edges that are unpleasant to step on with your bare foot. Trimming these back is needed. Also, you can’t see the beach from the top level which was surprising, but the view of the ocean is spectacular. When we arrived, there was dirty laundry from the previous guest setting outside the front door. This was picked up immediately once we informed the management company. While there were a few issues, the property was great for our family of 11 and we had a blast. Most of these issues can be solved easily and I’m sure they will be. The house was very clean and had plenty of amenities for our family. Overall it was a great trip.

we had an amazing time when we were at the property, the house had everything we wanted, our kids loved the pool and how close to the beach we were, we actually got to see dolphins from the top deck which was amazing, it was so quiet but still less than 5 minutes to Duck and all the shops and restaurants, we will for sure be back again

Early season peace and quiet
Spacious well equipped home from home. Loved the kitchen pots and dishes allowing home cooked meals of all kinds. Two fridges were very appreciated. Breezy coastline with plenty of wildlife. Visiting outside of the busy season highly recommended. Plenty of alone time on the beach with the dog. Boardwalk in Duck is a lovely stroll and hosts some fun stores, check out homemade treats at Outer Barks with your dog. Drive slowly down the private gravel only street to the property. House location set slight back from the dunes and the neighbors but sun rise and ocean views still magnificent. Bring extra hand towels for the powder room as well as the recommended pool and beach towels

great Escapes failure
We arrived Christmas eve to house with no water. The weather was frigid and yet anticipated for days even a week a head. In my initial conversation with the person managing the rental, she was very surly and quite unwilling to recognize this isca problem when you have 8 people staying. The only good news was a person who deals with the physical issues of the house came buy. He was very thoughtful yet didn't have adequate equipment to thaw the exposed pipe. My son in law went to home depot and purchased a heat gun. He couldn't get under the house until it was light the next day so had to rent rooms for the night and figure out eating out on christmas eve. We all understood it was christmas yet it was our Christmas also. We did not get a call or ha e anyone help us on Christmas day. We finally got the water running because of our son In law. With asked for compensation because of the house being unusable for 2 days, costs for eating out, hotel rooms, equipment and our time to fix the problem. They offered one day compensation. We felt this did not recognize the impact on us. They failed to engage in any dialog. We are not unreasonable people and felt they had abandoned us. If I were vrbo I would seriously look at working with them. If I were the owner I would find another company than great escapes to manage my property.

Our family stayed for Thanksgiving week. The kitchen was well stocked and was large enough to allow several chefs working at once! The view from 3rd level was amazing! The elevator was great to have available especially for check in and check out day.

Fun Family Vacation
We had a wonderful multigenerational family vacation at this property. The sunrises are beautiful to wake up to every morning. Lots of space to spread out in the family room, kitchen area, and deck to see the views of the ocean and relax. The walk to the beach was not too far. Everyone loved the pool and the slide was a hit! (The pool tiles could use some extra cleaning, however, to give it a more sparkling look). The game room area was also a nice extra space, and the swing outside was so comfortable. Patti was very responsive and great to work with. Would recommend this property - we'd love to go back!

Patti was great she attended to our request without a hitch! We liked the house had plenty of amenities except volleyball court had septic cement lids it not level and weeds, needs some attention. New Horeshoe's would be nice since ones available were very rusted. the house location and the beach aren't as close as we thought and need to have better walking area to get there. PICTURE NOT TRUE TO WHAT IS ACTUALLY THERE. Pool routine maintenance person was lacking. We had a good time! Thanks

Wonderful place
This was a perfect place for our family of 11. The Jack and Jill bathroom tied the bunk room to a bedroom which was great for the youngest kids. The older child in the bunk room could share the bathroom tied to the other bedroom on that floor. We used all the sitting areas, the small one was enjoyed at breakfast. The sun warmed us with a beautiful view. At times when we didn’t have much time to play the pool was nice for the kids to play in without having to drag everything to the beach. Parking was large enough to have parking for all the cars. We got a couple of basketball games going, but couldn’t use the volleyball court, the sand had shifted and exposed two handles on cement lids. Everyone does need to be able to climb the dunes to get to the ocean, the bench is gone at the top. Would recommend this place it’s beautiful and well kept. We had a wonderful time!

This property was perfectly situated, far enough away so the beach was never crowded but close enough to all of the stores that were needed for our stay. The communication with the property manager was phenomenal. There were a few minor issues that were taken care of extremely fast! I would highly recommend this place to any families.

The Seaquester is a great place for family and friends; just outside Duck and on the beach, location doesn’t get much better. The house amenities were perfect for us, especially the two full refrigerators in the kitchen. We never worried about food storage for the week for nine people. Great pool, fun slide, and of course an easy walk over the dune to the beach. An all around great vacation. One note: there are so many light switches for all the indoor and outdoor lights it became an event to turn off the lights at sundown to keep the bugs from swarming.

This is a great property! We really enjoyed our stay. The oceanview is amazing. The beach is just steps away. The pool area was nice & offered full sun & shade. The houses amenities made for a comfortable stay. The location is great-very close to Duck & Corolla. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
