“This house was wonderful! From the well stocked kitchen, to the pool supplies and baby supplies (bed rails, booster seat, sturdy deck gates), this house is well equipped for a family. The dining room only seats 6 but with some manipulating, 2 living room chairs can make it seat 8. The master bedroom is spacious, beach access very close by and the AC works great. The pool and hot tub was great but the decks need work to prevent nails and wood from tearing at your feet or your babies legs.……

The extra amenities the community had we definitely took advantage of and enjoyed. The location was perfect and walkable to so many nice things in downtown Duck. “I have been coming to the OBX for over 25 years. This was one of my favorite houses we have ever stayed in. The layout of the house was great. The best part of the house was how well stocked it was. There was everything you could possibly need and more. It was also very clean. The location to the beach was wonderful. We loved our stay!”

“Great location, neighborhood has walking trails, house is oceanfront and conveniently next to beach access, beautiful ocean views from top level of house and upstairs deck. Gas grill made cooking easy. Kitchen/barware well stocked (could use more flatware/knives). Plenty of parking. Tastefully decorated. Only complaint, the only ice maker is on the door of the freezer, not enough for coolers, we needed to buy bags of ice for the week. ”

“We enjoyed the location, easy walk between the beach and shops. House is very spacious allowing nice areas to get together and spaces to separate as well—teens need their places away from parents. Place was very clean and looks to be taken care of. Owner also checked in early to ensure the place met our expect. All good!”

“The property was great. Plenty of room, nice furnishings, comfortable beds, and a very nice kitchen that was stocked well. We enjoyed the pool very much, and the walk to the beach was quick. The only issue I had was that the glass tables were not wiped down very well, and the counter behind the kitchen table was very dusty. Everything else was great. The owner is very kind and full of information about the area and we listened to his suggestions for dining out and were happy with those choices.……

“We loved the property and all its amenities: close to the beach, great backyard pool, jacuzzi, and more balconies than we even had time to use! All of our kids got their own room and pretty much their own bathrooms too. Quiet, private, clean and Gary and his family were just amazing hosts with impeccable communications. Their check-in process and facilities were perfect. 10 out of 10 - no notes. ”

“This was a great place. Dog and teen friendly with lovely sound views and a short walk to the beach. Very nice inside but not so nice you don’t feel comfortable. Would totally stay there again. ”
