This house was a great space for our family of 8. We loved the pool. The grassy area was great for our dog and it was an easy neighborhood to walk in. The house had everything we needed and the owners were excellent with communicating.

We’ve stayed at this house several times. It’s on a quiet street while still close to the beach (a couple minutes drive with all your stuff). You can see the ocean from the top balcony - a great spot to enjoy morning coffee. Enjoyed the pool, hot tub, napped in the hammock - it was a fun and relaxing week.

Good location. Tucked back off of the highway which was good for kids. There were multiple rusty nails sticking out of the pool gates that sliced three people. The gate bungee/coil was in poor condition and would slam shut when you would walk in.

I just feel in love with this beach house. It has everything one might need and much more. Great communication with host. The only my regret was having to leave the island and beach house. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly on the island as well. It truly was an amazing time at beach house celebrating my girlfriend’s bachelorette getaway!

7 adults, 2 children. Plenty of space. Enjoyed pool, hot tub, nearby beach. Professional photo shoot Nags Head beach, Waterpark, mini golf, Go carts, sunrises on beach a minute away, drove nearby for sunset at big sand dune. Enjoyed most breakfasts and dinner at house, convenient, well equipped. Walked the neighborhood. Out for ice cream and afternoon cocktail. Full great week. Thanks for sharing your home with us. Matt was super prompt in responding to my questions. We like to stay somewhere different every year but will definitely recommend your place to others.

We really enjoyed the property. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen was well-stocked. The property was clean and well maintained. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed Our Happy Place with our group that ranged from 2-adult. The space was great for our family and the kids loved the game room and pool!

OBX Vacation

We had an amazing time staying at Our Happy Place rental. Loved the location, the pool/hot tub/rec room!!! Close to the beach, added a few extra beach chairs & cooler for future guests to enjoy. Owners quick to respond to questions & requests! Will stay here again in we head back to OBX.
