"What a fabulous boutique hotel the Palazzo Paolina is. Located on St Paul’s street perfectly positioned just off Merchant Street (near to the best gelato in Valletta) and only 10 minutes walk to the Malta Experience (a good pick up for out of city tours) and the e city gates. The rooms are comfortable and a good size - ours had a small balcony as well- and the bathroom was well equipped with great shower water pressure. Bottled water was provided every day and the room had a coffee machine and a kettle. Breakfast Buffett was available daily and provided hot and cold dishes. It catered to practically every taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful - no request was ever too much. Overall a gem of a hotel in a great location. Will certainly visit again!!"

"This was our 7th or 8th stay here. Having tried others “just for a change”, we now would not go anywhere else. Well worth booking a full sea view. Property perhaps slightly dated, and the building is not a thing of beauty, but acres of space, charming staff and wonderful pools, indoor, outdoor, children’s and jacuzzi. Special mention to Marita and Kurt of the breakfast staff. "

"The short response to our stay at the Malta Marriott Resort & Spa is simply "Wonderful". The those wanting more detail: My wife and I stayed for 7 nights, half board, 11-18 October 2025, booked as a package through Expedia. The check-in process was professional and courteous, something common to every member of the hotel staff. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean (as was the whole hotel). New bottled water was refreshed every morning and evening, and a lovely touch was the nightly turn down service (who can say no to a chocolate on your bed!). The Hotel has two outside pools both with a bar serving food and hot and cold drinks. The real bonus is the spa which we had full use of, and paid for a 55 minute treatment which was well worth the extra payment. Each evening we ate in the main restaurant, either inside or out on the veranda with a view over St Julians Bay. The menu provided a wide choice and we were free to pick whatever took our fancy. The breakfast was served in the "marketplace" restaurant with an extensive range on offer to suit every possible taste, definitely spoilt for choice! All staff members were great, but Sandhu at breakfast did standout as "exceptional". All in all, we had a great holiday in Malta, and staying at the Marriott Resort & Spa played a large part in ensuring that was the case. Great staff, facilities, food and location."
