Excellent location overlooking the Market Square Stage in downtown Knoxville.
You can exit directly onto the pedestrian only Square to visit award winning restaurants and local shops, or use the Wall Ave. entrance to gain access to the elevator.
University of Tennessee, Theater District, Gay St., Old City, Worlds Fair Site, History Museum, Convention Center are all within close walking distance...
You can park once and never need you vehicle until you leave.
Farmers Market on the Square every Wed and Sat throughout spring and autumn. Along with music on select Tuesday and Thursday nights.
Walking distance also to the new Stadium for baseball and soccer.
Please be aware that this location is in the center of the city.
It is a very lively entertainment district and it is where people to go and have fun all day and sometimes into the night.
We cannot control the noise from outside, although we do supply fans and earplugs.
If you need it absolute quiet at night, this may not be the location for you.

Valentine Getaway

The old industrial vibe was exactly what we were looking for! We enjoyed the ease of walking around Gay St and Market Square from Mid-Mod 401. Very clean and easy to access. Looking forward to future getaways here! Thanks for sharing your unit!

Great Downtown Stay!

Met all of our expectations. Beautiful place in the middle of everything in downtown Knoxville. Within walking distance of many great restaurants and entertainment. A short drive to hiking and other outdoor activities.

Loved this Apartment. Great Location!

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend during the Big Ears festival. It was a great location! Able to walk to all events, food and coffee close by - Loved waking up on Saturday and strolling the Farmers Market in Market Square. Perfect for a couple. Would stay here again and again!

Weekend in Knoxville

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Mid Mod. The place was clean with a nice sitting area and kitchen. We would definitely stay here again when we visit our daughter at UTK. You cant beat the location.

Perfect Location

We enjoyed exploring Knoxville while staying here. We were very happy with our accommodations. They left earplugs next to the bed as a thoughtful touch but it was actually very quiet at night for us. We also loved being on the top floor.

Lovely apartment

Great apartment in a fantastic area of town. Apartment was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. Felt very safe, as well. Would definitely stay there again.

You can't beat the location. It is right by all the restaurants and shops in market square. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with anything you might need. The owner was also very responsive answering questions. We would definitely stay there again.

Loved the location and how quaint the Mid Mod was! It was homey, perfect size for two and had everything we needed! We would definitely stay here again! We are going to try and book the Market View for Christmas when we come up to visit the kids! Thanks for a super experience!

Great location!

This property is located in a great location downtown right on Market Square. Parking garages were close and it was easy to unload right out front before parking. The building was secure and was easy to access. Would definitely recommend!

The property was in the heart of Market Square! Even though we had a car, we didn't need it as we were able to walk everywhere in town. We were in town for a football game and kept our car in the public parking garage without any issues. Bonus that it's free parking on the weekends, even on big football day. The apartment is very cozy and had everything we needed. Would love to come back.

Market Square apartment

The apartment was very clean when we arrived. It was spacious. It seemed to be well equipped. It doesn’t have a Market Square view, but it was right on Market Square. It is in a wonderful location with walking distance access to a lot of fun places. We fully enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Stay!

This was our first time staying in Mid Mod, we have stayed in Zen, Lofn, and Market View multiple times in this complex over the years and have always had a great experience! We loved the layout of Mid Mod and will definitely stay again. The property is always very clean, in a great location, and we always enjoy the snacks they have available. I met Linda, who helps oversee the property and she was very friendly and offered to get us anything we needed. We stayed this weekend to visit our son for his birthday and had a great time!

Had a great stay. Host communication was great and they let us check in earlier than 3pm. The location was great with market square and gay street right outside the door. With that said it is pretty noisy from the street below with the garbage trucks in the AM. Can't beat the location with Gay St. literally around the corner with every shop and restaurant you could want. If I had to nit pick and find a complaint- or more so a suggestion to the apartment association- that elevator has a smell to it that was something else. Gotta figure that out. With that said- do not let that stop you from staying here.

Excellent vacation rental!!

This place is amazing. Pay attention to the owner's details on how to get in the building, they're spot on. It's not complicated at all. Beautiful apartment, very tastefully decorated. If you're there on weekends, you'll have a rowdy crowd late at night in Market Square, which is literally a minute from the apartment, but the owners were kind enough to leave earplugs (clean separately packaged single use deals) at the bedside. This place has all you'll need, and you're close to everything. Even the cleaning lady was a sweetheart!! We'll definitely be back to visit these folks again at this rental, we had an amazing time. Thanks for having us!!

Football Game Weekend

My husband and I stayed in this rental for a football game weekend in Knoxville. It was the perfect spot for us to stay, located about a 30 minutes walk from the stadium and near to food, stores, and activities. The unit had all we needed and then some. We enjoyed both AM coffee and hot tea thanks to there being both a coffeemaker and electric kettle. The bathroom was stocked with more than enough linens, complimentary shower items, and most importantly it was very clean. The bedroom met our needs with a side table on either side of the bed and several outlets around the room for our devices to charge, as well as built into the lamps on both side tables. We appreciated having access to the Roku on the television so we could watch all of our streaming subscriptions. We were also able to enjoy listening to records on the supplied record player—a very nice feature. The snacks provided by the host were a really nice touch and came in clutch after a late night at Neyland. The unit is steps away from Market Square which had a farmers market on Saturday morning and was full of places to eat before the game. We loved being able to grab lunch, and then a quick nap before heading over to the campus. Parking on Friday night before a Saturday home game was easy—the Langley lot was free for the weekend with us arriving when we did. The unit was mostly quiet, even with the location. Trash collection early both mornings was noisy but we would still return to this unit again! Thanks!
