"We loved our short stay at Buri Rasa. Such a special place in Koh Phangan. We visited and stayed all over the island and this resort is by far the classiest. Having said that, this is ‘sanitised’ Koh Phangan (only ONE cannabis shop we spied in the village, as opposed to the customary ‘every other shop’ experience!) and we absolutely loved our very different, more authentic stay just before at Secret Beach Bungalows. But Buri Rasa is delightful on lots of levels (staff, stylish rooms, nice breakfast, great happy hour with fabulous cocktail waiters)…and a great choice for families with children. We came with our 16 year old and were glad to escape the cannabis shops for a few days! Fabulous resort "

The older part of the resort (just the rooms and their pools) is in desperate need of an upgrade. Before my stay I read more than a few reviews regarding the resorts age and thought how bad could it be? It’s bad. At some point everything needs an upgrade. Panviman is well overdue for one. I’m sure the rooms in the newer section are great, I suggest booking one of them. "

"I had a great stay at this property, i highly recommend it. The staff is great, especially Natalia at the front desk. She is a great front desk person, i onow as ive been in the industry. Also the guys at the tiki bar. One small complaint, i booked day by day. The gm raised my rate by $6.A d i had a friend stay 2 nights from koh samui. I never asked for room cleaning, hit the tiki bar daily and ate there a couple times. No need to loose a customer over $6. Overall, peaceful, awesome stay."
