“We loved our stay at Garto, it was by far our favourite resort on our travels. The staff and owner are very helpful and friendly. The villas are large with a separate kitchen, very comfortable beds/seating area, large terrace and the most amazing, privacy screened, outdoor waterfall shower. They are also spotlessly clean with all amenities. The resort makes you feel like you are in nature with lots of greenery and a pool overlooking the sea. Breakfast was huge and cooked to order. The fruit……

“The staff members of the property are excellent. They are very helpful and attentive to our needs. My family agrees that they deserve the best comment here. The property is running a little dated, some furniture are not in perfect condition, but they are all functional. The pool is perfect, the live-in staff cleans the pool everyday and they even tell you when they have put in chlorine. Thumbs up! We asked the staff/chef to cook dinner for us (4 nights out of 5), the food are superb and no……

"It was not so good for the first day of our stay where we had to wait for a long time for the coffee. We arrived the restaurant at 10am which was half hour before the end of the breakfast time, but no refills were arranged for some of the food. For the noodles that I ordered, it never serves by the waiter…. It was quite disappointing about the overall arrangement. The catering staff did apologise the next day when we were there at 9 something. I do think the restaurant has to make sure the service and food would not be affected even customers arriving late, say 10 plus."
