Cape Panwa6 nights4.5 star property9.2/10 - Wonderful (339 reviews)"The staff were very friendly, and the environment was peaceful and relaxing. The beaches felt exclusive, with fewer crowds, making it ideal for a quiet getaway. However, sea sports activities were limited. There were also quite a number of staircases, which may be challenging for those with weak knees, families with strollers, or wheelchair users."Reviewed October 29, 2026Roundtrip • New York (JFK) - Phuket (HKT)JFK - HKT • 1 stop HKT - JFK • 1 stop$5,863$2,845found 1 day agoper traveler - Blue Beach Grand Resort and Spa

Ko Yao6 nights4.5 star property9.2/10 - Wonderful (467 reviews)"Amazing stay at the Koh Yao Yai Village resort! From check in to check out the staff were very attentive and 5 star service. The private villas in the forest were very tastefully decorated and great layout. Very private and relaxing! Kudos to the front office manager Kroekphan who greeted us each morning to check up to see if we needed anything. Although this is a beautiful resort, props to all the staff! They definitely made stay with their heartwarming and friendly hospitality. "Except the sheets on the bed, nothing about the room made me feel as though it had been cleaned any time recently. Bathroom had mold in shower and vent in bathroom looked like the lint from the dryer’s filter"

"The staff were very kind and happy to meet our accommodation needs. The breakfast was delicious. Had a variety of good options for everyone and the staff were flexible about the time. The room was comfortable, but all the rooms on the pond face eachother, so be cautious of keeping your curtains open, there is not much privacy. The rooms also do not keep out sound well. You can easily hear your neighbors and anything going on outside. The hotel is next to the park, we were able to walk there...

"The room was clean and was just ideal for an overnight stay before we catch the boat to Koh Lipe in the morning. The staff were very welcoming, they can converse in English and Malay. Location is perfect for the boat to Koh Lipe, around 5 minutes walk from the hotel. There are plenty of places to eat in the area - good seafood restaurants. There is a 7 Eleven nearby too. I would strongly suggest that do not book the boat ticket direct from the hotel to avoid any issue trying to board at the...

"We had a good stay at Pan Nam Resort. Staff were wonderful and worked hard on the English. (I had to use a translator app). We had no hand towels nor hand soap in the bathroom. The bath fixtures are very dated and in need of repair. The shower dripped day and night so we had to keep the door closed so we could sleep. The only other thing is there were no clothing hangers for our clothing. Some I like to hang to let the wrinkles out and I like to handwash some clothing but nothing to...
