I would stay here again. Nice room. Only the breakfast buffet was a bit disappointing from a western point of view. No butter, only margarine. No fresh fruit. Choice of rolls/bread was limited. Not much to choose from it seemed if you don’t care for a a Japanese style breakfast.
We only stayed one night but wish we had longer. Staff were super courteous even by Japanese standard. Room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the onsen as well. Even after we checked out they took the extra mile to drive us to drop off our luggage first at the tourist info center and then to the ...
Room was big and comfortable, clean and well preserved. Staff were very friendly, polite and made us feel privileged. The outdoor bath was excellent, even the public bath area was very nice! The hotel's location was very good, with a short trail leading to most of the shops and places which you could ...
Went there on Sunday for a 2 day stay. The hotel's public spa was way too crowded. So we only used the hotel's private spa which was good, much less crowed, but without an outdoor pool. It has a steam sauna room though. Room was spacious with a view. Dinner was kaiseki and served in our room. The ...
My mom, my husband and I stayed at their suite on Monday after the Golden Week. It was quiet, spacious and clean. Large (per Japanese standard) living room is located between (2) bedrooms so there was plenty of privacy for mom and husband. Friendly staff, private bath, it was perfect for our getaway. ...
The food and service was amazing - we had traditional breakfast and kaiseki and beef sukiyaki for dinner and really enjoyed it. The hotel was well maintained and the room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly Thanks for such a wonderful and relaxing stay! We cannot wait to come back!
Small and a bit quirky, but wonderful staff. European flavor to decor and ambiance. Had breakfast there once, but saved the $20. other days and ate out.
I picked this hotel because of it;s proximity to the station but it was very difficultto find; I was lucky in that a stranger walked me all the way to the hotel after I had wandered around a while I don;t think I cold;ve found it myself. The staff and facilities were pretty normal for Japan. The ...
