Kawasaki Good Times World gives visitors a fun and entertaining view of the company’s 100 years of contributions to modern society. Bring the kids to be entertained as you learn about Kawasaki, from street cycles to huge trains, ships and aircraft.
Go to the second floor of the Kobe Maritime Museum, where Kawasaki Good Times World takes up about half of the space. After learning about the founders via panel displays, step into the history area to find information about Kawasaki’s origins as a shipbuilding company through its development of early industrial robots and even Jet Ski personal watercraft. View impressive images of products from Kawasaki Heavy Industries on the 46-foot-wide (14-meter) screen of the Kawasaki World Theater.
If you’re most familiar with Kawasaki for its street and racing bikes, you’ll find plenty to excite you in the Motorcycle Gallery. View the large collection of colorful bikes, touch and sit on a few and take a thrilling ride along a course via a simulator.
Portions of a large train, ship and helicopter will lead you to exhibits on Kawasaki’s activities in land, sea and air technologies. In the Land Zone, step into the cab and passenger car of a Shinkansen (bullet train). On a smaller scale, operate the controls of an HO scale railway.
Audiovisuals in the Sea Zone show the launch of a huge ship and the manufacture of a Shinkansen. Sit on a Jet Ski imagining yourself racing across the water. Board a Kawasaki-Vertol KV-107IIin the Air Zone. Developed in the 1960s, this helicopter has evolved to hold up to 25 passengers.

The museum opening hours are daily except Mondays. Ride the City Loop Bus to Nakatottei Pier, take the train to Minatomotomachi Station or drive and park in a paid lot nearby.
