Clean and spacious rooms, though the lighting could be improved — our room felt a bit too dark, not sure if that is intentional or that it is the style of the building. The facility is great and has a welcoming atmosphere. Food at the bar was delicious. It’s within walking distance of most places, about 15 minutes from the central hub, but we didn’t find that inconvenient.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms, staff and amenities are all First Rate. And the view from our room overlooking the Zoo was unbelievable. Who wakes up with Kangaroos running around just outside their window?
Our only caution is it is a bit remote, far from public transit and walking through the pitch black Tiergarten at night is not an option.

Overall our stay was very good. The hotel was busy, & had a lovely atmosphere. It was clean and the staff were friendly & attentive. The only thing we didn't like was the bathroom facilities in the rooms. Individual cubicles for toilet & shower in the bedroom, with only a frosted glass door for privacy ...
