“This is one of the BEST hotels I have ever stayed! The service was BEYOND expectations. The who staff was so accommodating, kind, professional, and wonderful. The view was breathtaking from my balcony, the showers were quality, the room spacious, the Blues Restaurant unforgettable. I can go on and on. I was sad to leave Curaçao not just for my experience on the island but how much I enjoyed my time at Avila and all the beautiful people I met. This historic hotel is the best on the island. ”

Most often you had to track down a staff member in order to get a drink. The restaurants were okay but again there weren't as many options as I would have liked. “Alugamos a vila premium para 6 pessoas, casa confortável com piscina privativa. Ar condicionado e duas cozinhas, excelente!! Pontos negativos: checkin só foi permitido com muito atraso (40min). Tivemos problemas em 2 dos 3 banheiros e a manutenção não resolveu o problema. Deveriam melhorar isso, pois o resort é excelente. Praia muito boa. ”

“Scuba Lodge was everything because of the staff! From the time I checked in, to the first welcome drink and throughout the week, the staff were the BEST! All of them made me feel welcome, safe, and well taken care of. The rooms were clean, spacious and beautiful. Housekeeping would come in every day and clean the room, thoroughly. The location was about 20 minutes from the airport and within walking distance of many cute restaurants. The restaurant at Scuba Lodge was delicious. The service was……
