After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.”

“The place just outside Lochcarron is quite unique and the house is fabulous. The hostess was very friendly and always ready to help. The location is ideal between Torridon, Applecross and Isle of Skye. Excellent nights and absolute cleanliness.”
