"Loved the room. Quirky and cool. Breakfast was lovely. Only note is to be sure the location works for you. We found it to be a little out of the way and wished we had stayed a little closer to some of the activities we had planned, but that was our bad not the property’s!"

"The room itself was tiny, nicely furnished and extreme warm. No aircon / fan/ heater there. Bathroom was clean.
If u don't need a kitchen or fridge it's not recommendable for the price.
It was offered online with a whirpool wich wasn't available. No compensation for that. The water option was the main reason why we booked the place.
There was one other guest who snored through the whole house.
No idea how noisy it is with all rooms occupied.
For us it was a pricy hothouse

"We came to the hotel for the semi-final euro game in Lyon.
We found a very nice place in the midlle of the forest, very helptull and nice owner, and we had a great stay there"

"Les Galapons was so much more than we expected. In the middle of the countryside. If you want complete silence, a reset on life in the city, this is the place to go. Sandrine and Sebastian are the perfect hosts. Food was extremely tasty, local wine was some of the best we have had and the room was delightfully decorated and spotless. "

"Beautiful property where extra attention to details by the owners made for a wonderful stay. Thank you for a great stay before our flight home, 100% recommend. "

"Armand (owner) was very helpful, even though I was only there for a very short time. He allowed me a flexible check in and was very friendly. He brought breakfast to my room in the morning. I didn't really explore the area but I know Lyon fairly well. It was a 20 minute walk to Part-Dieu Station but of course you could get a direct bus or tram easily. A taxi cost me £13 from Part Dieu to the property. It is exactly as described."

"Room was clean and staff were very friendly. The location was perfect to get around and explore the city.
The only thing I would say is it would be nice for enough tea and coffee in the room for 2 people.
Breakfast was filling and great for the price. "
"Hotel conveniently close to train station. Quiet-never heard the trains. Spacious room with separate room for toilet and small sink apart from main bathroom with shower and large sink. Best breakfast of all hotels we stayed at this trip. Hot foods, crepe station, many cheeses, and several breads. Staff very helpful. Tram and Metro stops nearby."
