"Once we got inside our room, the room was fine. With our late arrival (about 11 PM) we had to plead for the agent to respect our booking on hotels.com He left a key for us in a front door lock box of the inn. But there was a moment of doubt when he answered the phone at 10 PM and said “we have now closed”. Note: They need to leave coffee stirring sticks or plastic spoons to stir the fine coffee they offer in the rooms. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean."

"The reception staff was amazing! Super warm, respectful and treated guests with importance and promptness. Rooms were comfy. It would help to have some more hangers though! Breakfast was ok, nothing hot except tea / coffee. Not sure why you guys would serve super cold boiled eggs though! Would have been nicer to have toast and waffels etc."

"The pillows and bed were very comfortable, I had a wonderful sleep. The parking also provided EV charging stations which I find very convenient. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was average but with enough selections. Will definitely come back again."

"We really enjoyed our stay for 2 nights at the Quarrystone Bed and Breakfast on Salt Spring Island. The breakfasts were amazing and would cost a lot at a restaurant !! They encouraged you to take muffins and pastries away to have later in the day. This allowed us skip lunch. The staff were wonderful ! The farm setting was lovely and we had an ocean view through the trees from our bottom floor unit. It was helpful to have a fridge in the room too! Room was very clean. The air conditioner worked well ! The B & B is a fair drive from the Vesuvious Ferry but in a lovely rural part of the island. There is so much to see and do on Salt Spring Island that I would suggest 3 nights at least. Unfortunately we missed the Saturday Market so I would plan on staying over a weekend next time. Despite No Reservations on the Gulf Islands, we did not encounter any ferry waits especially if we arrived early at the terminals. I would Highly Recommend staying at the Quarrysrone B & B !!!! "The relaxing surroundings of the farm animals and the mountain in view was wonderful. The weather during my stay probably helped! You can certainly hear Hwy 1 over yonder, but it didn’t bother me. The RV is a little older, but everything works and it’s clean. The mattress was comfortable enough, the sheets felt lovely, I slept well. My mid sized dog was very curious about the occasionally roaming goats. We tried hard to respect them and they kept at a distance, the deck has a small gate at the stairs to give everyone an boundary line. Ian is a very responsive host. I would recommend if you are looking for a place in the area you check it out."
