Even though we were very short on time, the breakfast was amazing, making something quickly so we could leave. The rooms were even more amazing, with a cute private balcony and a view! The staff made us feel like family. Would love to come again and have a room with a private pool.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! An amazing space that feels like staying in a rainforest but with all the amenities you could ask for. The restaurant was amazing and the same price as mediocre food in town. Great location close to the tourist sites with a great view of the volcano. We couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Very clean and quiet resort. It was huge with so many amenities. Our room looked exactly like the pictures. Only thing to note is the property is about a 15 minute walk from the main town with restaurants so be prepared for that if you did not rent a car.

Amazing property for family with three active boys/ the waterslide, gym and padel courts were awesome. Breakfast was nice each morning although very slow service so plan on a full hour for breakfast. The rooms were great and location very convenient and super close to La Fortuna waterfall and El Salto rope swing

Amazing food, comfortable rooms. Some art by local artists in the rooms would have been nicer since it looks like they renovated and just opened quickly without making it too homey. We loved staying at the Hotel Boutique Casa Del Rio. The staff was extremely gracious and helpful. Everyone we met seemed happy to work there. Our room, tucked away in a lovely oasis-like environment, was very clean and comfortable. I loved the grounds and the restaurant. And we got to see howler monkeys along the river!

This is a beautiful resort property and our room was spacious, modern and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the balcony and waking up to the sound of birds and the nearby river. Boutique Casa del Rio exceeded all my expectations! The property is very lush, beautiful, and well-maintained, and so convenient that it’s close to town. The staff are very friendly and the hearty breakfast included is amazing. The rooms are well laid out and spacious, including the bathroom with a large walk-in shower and the most powerful rain showerhead. This is the most efficiently run property I’ve ever stayed at!

All staff were friendly and accommodating. Alex was especially helpful, recommending and making reservations for restaurants as well as other accommodations. Our room was clean, spotless every day. We loved watching squirrel monkeys from our balcony and hanging out by the pool. The location was very convenient to walk to beaches and restaurants.
