Welcome to our chalet in the heart of the charming Montchavin resort.
The village of Montchavin is nestled in the Tarentaise Vanoise valley in Savoie. 
It is at the heart of Paradiski, a ski area from Montchavin:
Les Arcs, La Plagne and Montchavin-Les Coches.
This village has above all kept its traditional Savoyard atmosphere and architecture.
An extremely rare element, this village lives all year round with its scent of raclettes and cows!

Neige soleil au pied des pistes

En famille à 10, de 2 à67 ans, tout était optimal, et chacun a trouve ses repÚres, ses activités, tout en se passant de trÚs bons temps conviviaux dans un chalet confortable et bien agencé pour accueillir une famille.

Nous avons passés de belles vacances dans le chalet. La situation est top et le chalet est trÚs bien équipé . Je remercie le propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et sa réactivité ! Nous reviendrons !

Un joli chalet au pied des pistes mais...

Le nombre d'hébergement 11 sur le site est exagéré, sauf si on rajoute des bébés dans les chambres, la chambre dortoir est un calvaire pour les parents hauteur sous poutre de 80 cm! Il est impossible d'y faire dormir des ados ou des adultes. Le ménage était déficient: tessons de cannettes de biÚre dans le séjour et frigo en panne faute de dégivrage. Au tarif pratiqué ce n'est pas acceptable! Une fois ces désagréments réglés nous avons apprécié notre séjour: jolie déco dans le séjour, salle de bain refaite à neuf, salle d'eau vieillotte mais pratique, literie impeccable. Propriétaire réactive, concierge désagréable, comme nous connaissons bien Montchavin nous avons profité au maximum de notre semaine dans ce magnifique village au charme authentique qui permet d'accéder à un domaine exceptionnel! La descente de l'Aiguille Rouge jusqu'à Villaroger avec ses 2000 m de dénivelé est un grand moment!

Excellent hébergement pour un séjour en famille. Petit village trÚs sympathique.

TrÚs bon séjour, hébergement trÚs bien équipé, apprécié pour ses chambres spacieuses, proche de la piscine/Spa. Patinoire en plein air à proximité pour une activité de fin de journée. A cÎté des remontées mécaniques ou cabines selon la destination sur les pistes. Excellent séjour

Que du bonheur

Nous avons passe un excellent weekend dans ce magnifique chalet. Il y a beaucoup d'espace, une belle deco, tous les ustensiles de cuisine, c'est propre et tres chaleureux, je recommande vivement. Nous avons pu arriver plus tot et partir plus tard donc les proprietaires sont tres arrangeants. Le chalet est situe en plein coeur du petit village de Montchavin qui est ravissant. Merci pour ce beau weekend.

Un chalet convivial au pied des pistes

C'est la deuxiĂšme annĂ©e consĂ©cutive que nous louons ce chaleureux chalet. A 6 adultes, 3 enfants et un bĂ©bĂ©, il est suffisamment spacieux pour qu'on ne se marche pas sur les pieds comme c'est souvent le cas avec les gĂźtes de montagne. La piĂšce Ă  vivre est trĂšs agrĂ©able avec sa cheminĂ©e. Il possĂšde tout l'Ă©quipement nĂ©cessaire, notamment pour un bĂ©bĂ© (lit et chaise haute). Un accĂšs par le haut du chalet permet d'y arriver et d'en partir quasiment ski aux pieds. Quand aux commerces, ils sont quasiment Ă  la porte. A noter aussi que le chalet Ă©tant visiblement utilisĂ© par les propriĂ©taire, on n'est pas dans un lieu froid et impersonnel, mais meublĂ©, dĂ©corĂ© avec des jeux dans les placards et des livres dans les Ă©tagĂšres. La possibilitĂ© de se faire livrer un drive par la trĂšs sympathique Kathy le samedi matin est un vĂ©ritable luxe et permet d'avoir le frigo et les placard remplis avant mĂȘme notre arrivĂ©e !! S'il fallait trouver un reproche, ça serait l'absence de local Ă  ski, mĂȘme s'il y a bien un espace prĂ©vu pour les chaussures et une grande Ă©tagĂšre pour stocker les casques et autre matĂ©riel. Quand Ă  Montchavin c'est une petite station qui a su garder un cachet typique loin des barres d'immeuble qui dĂ©forment parfois des stations surpeuplĂ©es. Ruelles tortueuses et odeur de chĂšvres lui donnent tout son charme ! Le petit bĂ©mol concerne le prix des forfaits. Il n'existe pas de forfait semaine Montchavin. On est donc presque obligĂ© de prendre un forfait la Plagne trĂšs chĂšre. Hors quand on doit laisser et rĂ©cupĂ©rer les enfants Ă  l'Ă©cole de ski, comme Montchavin est assez encaissĂ© dans le fond du domaine, on n'a pas vraiment le temps d'aller skier sur la Plagne ou sur le glacier de BellecĂŽte.
