Well, right off the bat, the parking situation was a little bit confusing. My gps took me to a large empty parking lot in the back of the building. Since there were no cars parked there nor an entrance accessible from there, I pulled around the building. There was a small circle driveway off an intersection and some street parking. I kept going and found a parking garage. I got out and walked to the door and there was a sign saying no hotel access, use other door. I went to the second door, got out and there was another small note saying this entrance is closed please use the other door. Finally I found a third door that did access the hotel but only with a key card, so we had to walk up to the front of the hotel to check in and then go get our bags after. No problem. We get to our room.. lovely room, but unfortunately it hadn’t been cleaned. There was trash, the beds were unmade, dirty towels in the bathroom, obviously had not been cleaned at all. Went to front desk, they moved us to a downgraded room but wouldn’t give us any sort of discount or even apology. Okay. Whatever. The room we went to was fine, but no balcony. The shower head needed replacing, had a weird weak stream, was clogged. I had to twist it to get the water to shoot out of the middle holes, thankfully that worked ok. Breakfast was alright, the standard continental breakfast fare. Waffle irons, etc. Pool and hot tub area was crowded. Desk staff nice. Pictures were misleading on site imo. But not bad hotel.

The room was comfortable and we had the amenities we needed. It offered a generous breakfast every morning. Coffee and water were available at all times. The gym was clean and easily accessible. The pool was closed during our stay due to the season we traveled in. There was ample parking downstairs. The bar on site was really cute and the drinks were great. We were driving distance to a lot of things and it made it a great homebase. We would definitely stay here again.

​The only major drawback occurred over the weekend when one of the main elevators went out of service. While mechanical issues are understandable, the lack of communication was frustrating. There was no signage posted at the elevator banks to alert guests or direct them to the service stairs/alternative lifts. This led to a lot of confusion and long wait times in the lobby, which took away from the otherwise seamless "vibe" of the hotel.​ I would definitely recommend this hotel for its excellent location and superb staff. If they can improve their internal communication and guest signage during maintenance issues, it would easily be a five-star stay.

Great, simple breakfast options. Clean fitness room. Terrific location steps from main campus and a short walk to town and restaurants.

Cleaning needs help in the rooms and bathrooms. Room 511 hopefully is the smallest of all the rooms. You couldn’t use the chair fully with the desk and had to take turns in areas it was so tight. The staff was wrong about times for the Terrance bar and restaurant causing us to wait for that and then miss the downstairs restaurant being open so we waited a few more hours to find a place to eat. Simple mistake but that’s their job.
