They thought of every detail, unfortunately with the exception of the furniture. We found the beds and the sofa to be very uncomfortable-this place would be an absolute 5star review with more comfortable furnishings. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us.

One doesn't go to Indiana Beach to stay in the hotel room. The most incredibly wonderful things about Alexander's is location. Steps away from the park. Walk and return to the hotel and use multiple entry park passes. Second is the amazing outdoor patio. I researched and know that over $20,000 was spent just in outdoor furniture overlooking Shafer Lake. Opportunities to cook out, corn hole, and water sports and an indoor pool. The room #7 had a full kitchen, very small bathroom, and two double beds. What an amazing stay except.... Mattresses need to be replaced. And the steps down to reach the room: Huge steps and no handrails. Yes, we are in our mid-80s. I know you are thinking we should stay home in our rocking chairs until we die. (We don't own rocking chairs). It was easier to use the hillside beside the steps. All in all. Please know we were extremely happy with our stay.

We were in room 2 and it was nice, clean and convenient. However, the noise from the people above us was soooooooo bad. Also the sofa bed was ridiculously uncomfortable.

The location and setting was great. Only complaint was we were in room 7 and room 6 was an adjoining room. We could hear EVERYTHING and even kinda peak through the door and I assume they could hear us?? I wear earplugs to sleep so not that bad. The location and view were AMAZING! If o get the chance to come back I would still take 7 despite room 6

Room #2 was well appointed and clean. We were unable to access the pool due to large number of people who spent the entire evening yelling, throwing each other around the pool. I was visiting from Colorado. This was a chance to get together with my family, who lives in the area, and celebrate a birthday. When I left the deck for a few minutes to go to my room, other visitors chased my 3 teenaged nieces and nephews off the deck, questioning their right to play corn hole there. We were not informed, in any way, about use of water toys on the premises. This is not a venue that is handicapped accessible in any way.

Cons-only five parking spots, the next spot says reserved for the next hotel. Then they have the audacity to email you saying they’re not responsible if your car gets towed. I conveniently got that email within 30 minutes of us returning to the hotel and parked. -Con don’t recommend first floor, you can hear every footstep on the second floor. -Con The freaking door did not lock. Zero safety, I took a video, but I don’t believe I can post it. Wasn’t that worried being that it was wintertime, but if there were people walking everywhere, absolutely not. -Pro if you’re going to Indiana Beach, you can’t get closer -Pro the room was absolutely beautiful super clean

​I had a deeply disappointing experience during my stay. Unfortunately, I encountered bugs on the bed. When I reported it, management and their exterminator dismissed my claim, insisting there were no bed bugs—even though I have clear picture and video proof. I chose not to post the media because it is totally disgusting. Dealing with this issue and their poor response completely ruined our family getaway. Thankfully, Expedia stepped in and issued a refund, but I would not recommend booking here until these serious cleanliness and pest control issues are properly addressed.

It was even better then I expected! Extremely beautiful! We stayed during the "off season" and it was just so calming and beautiful! We are definitely going to be staying here again! Next time with the kids they would love it here
